We're a weird little bunch over here (that's not a bad thing) and we are very open and honest about life and all it's trials and tribulations. We have been together over 14 years now and have two beautiful boys (we keep them very private, it's up to them to make their own decisions about being online once old enough). All four of us are AuDHD (Jem and eldest more autistic, Neil and youngest more ADHD). Jem also has temporal lobe epilepsy and chronic migraines. Youngest has high frequency hearing loss in both ears. To say life can be challenging would be an understatement but we do the best we can with what we're given day to day. Jem's favourite song lyric is "One step at a time, one foot in front of the other. We're gonna get through this, one way or another", we try to live by that always.

Neil is a mechanical engineer and welder/fabricator by trade. Jem has been self-employed for so long now, she is basically a professional hermit and potato.

The made to order goodies we take on are very specific due to all of the above. Jem goes out of her way to protect both her own and Neil's mental health and that includes knowing when to say no and not take on too much commission based work that could put a lot of pressure on us when life is particularly rough.

We founded No Forks in 2017. Neil was already a welder/fabricator and when we stumbled upon a huge box of old cutlery at a local carboot, the wheels started turning and the very beginnings of No Forks were born. We take all of our inspiration from the world around us, real life experiences and nature. We love nothing more than taking a walk or bike ride around our beautiful home county, seeing wildlife and nature in it's natural environment and creating unique, original pieces from that. We have always worked hard to have our own unique style and all of our work is original to us, born in our brains, often sketched on paper then brought to life in metal. We have sadly had our work copied more times than we care to think about, it is absolutely gut wrenching and isn't something we would ever do ourselves so please don't ever ask us to replicate someone else's work, the answer will always be a very firm no.

Our little corner of the internet and social media is a warm, welcoming, open space where everyone is welcome. As a family, we are very big on kindness, consent, acceptance, respect and morals. Anyone found to be upsetting the balance is removed and blocked very quickly, often before anyone has even noticed. Our safe space will remain that always. Open ended, respectful conversation is always welcomed but please remember, it is a delicate balance and we will not allow excuses for any behaviour we deem unacceptable in our online spaces.

We are incredibly proud of everything we have built and it is a pleasure to have you along with us for the ride.
