Cherry Blossom Free-hand Embroidery by Jem - Ready to Post.

This stunning piece has been delicately hand-crafted in our family run Yorkshire workshop. We are just Jem and Neil, wife and husband, creating beautiful, original works of art. Each piece we create is an original. No two ever come together the same way due to the materials and processes we use.

Cherry Blossom has been entirely designed, drawn and hand-sewn by Jem. It is sewn onto white cotton using various cotton threads in pinks and browns. Inspired by the beautiful Cherry Blossoms of Suzuka in Japan, this stunning piece took around 25 hours to complete.

Please only dust with a soft, clean cloth and avoid prolonged direct sunlight as it will fade the colours over time. The whole piece has been mounted and cut to size into a 6-inch embroidery hoop with a little loop of jute twine attached for ease of popping on the wall. An additional piece of white cotton has been added to the back to cover and protect the back of the stitching.

Please do expect some small marks and imperfections given the handmade nature of this product and the materials we use. It is entirely made by hand so the stitches aren't all perfectly even but this only adds to it's charm and handmade value.

This item is a delicate ornament that will mark easily given it's colour and must be kept out of reach of children, pets and vulnerable people at all times. It is not to be used as a toy.
